John Urho Aalto, Jr., known to his many friends simply as Urho. Engineer, linguist, rifleman, archer, hunter, fisherman, intelligence officer and perhaps the last of the real mountain men in this cockeyed world. He was my best (male) friend for more than sixty years and I probably knew him as well as anyone outside his immediate family. This is his story.
