Goa, Damão and Diu were Portuguese territories till the 21 December 1961, when they were occupied by the Indian Union. Portugal has recognized the occupation only in 1974, by a treaty.The persons born in those territories till the 3th June 1975 are Portuguese citizens and, now, European citizens.
