Thirty-nine year old Ann has many questions and fears about the world, and usually just tries to repress them. She has just moved downtown and is afraid to walk anywhere after dark, but with her new job at the liquor store, she tries to overcome this fear since she thinks it''s silly to drive her car three blocks.
