This book imagines several traits of heaven, a place of consciousness and life beyond death. In particular, It considers the ways heaven might surprise us, such as having a heavenly body, that animals may be in heaven, and that heaven may be to the "e;the side of us."e;  By considering several such traits, the author intends to show the  surprising joy and beauty is closer than we might think.
