Creature of Spooky Lake

The creature is as old as a dinosaur and lives in the muck and silt of Spooky Lake. Every eleven years, on the eleventh of August, it takes a living being. When four college students stumble across the legend (or is it), they find out it''s not a legend. They become inspired to stop the creature from taking again.

Will they be able to figure out how to stop it when their predator couldn''t?
