This is the annotated edition including the rare biographical essay by Edwin E. Slosson called "H. G. Wells - A Major Prophet Of His Time". Wells confesses in his autobiography that most of his novels have an autobiographical background; now he pieces them together. Wells has filled more than 700 pages of text with matter of great diversity both in kind and in interest.
