Jody's Acceptance

This story is about a little girl named Jody whose grandmother died a year ago, on her tenth birthday. She still has feelings of shock, sadness, and guilt. And she longs for her grandmother. She learns to accept the loss and develop coping skills, including talking to her mother. Recalling memories, like the birthday present of the blue dress, is a way of remembering the good times.
