Subject, Theme and Agent in Modern Standard Arabic

Investigates the universal categories ''subject'', ''theme'', and ''agent'' with special reference to their functional status in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and how these three distinct functions may or may not coincide in Arabic sentences.
