Ever since its inception the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad or sometimes the Shin Bet, have heavily depended on assassinations as a powerful means to deter, punish and eliminate those who are thought to be the enemies of Israel.
Whoever coined the phrase 'the middle of nowhere' must have had Broken Hill in mind, because that's where it was -- and still is, although the Road to Nowhere is now all-weather tarmac.
