While I don't attest to being a poet or being educated in proper poetry writing, I have enjoyed creating my own works of poetry and song over the last two decades.
In my first book, Lighting the Darkness (2020), I tried to tell the story of my life: from childhood, as a blind child growing up in a traditional rural environment, to the day in 1972 on which I received the letter of appointment as Social Development Officer in the then Ministry of Social Welfare.
