At the very height of the "feuilletonistic era" and – at the same time – the "Ahrimanic Fall", in the century of the Blood Revolution, which buried idealism for a long time and successfully laid in the dust everything high, everything elitist, I wished to revive on a new basis a Symbolist magazine of the pre-revolutionary type, a magazine for the few, which has nothing to do with "stamp culture"; a magazine initiated by the trends of the Silver Age - the last creatively flourishing era of Russian literature and genuine intellectual culture.
