Las reflexiones presentadas en este libro nos evocan que las estrategias, prácticas o iniciativas de memoria descritas y analizadas, son producto de unas condiciones nacionales, regionales y locales, no solo como una determinación espacial, sino como fragmentos de comprensión de unos escenarios donde el conflicto responde a lógicas observadas en lo nacional, pero también resultan de la particularidad de su ejercicio de poder violento y simbólico sobre diversos grupos poblacionales en diferentes zonas del país; a su vez, ese pasado evocado se hace desde un presente que alude necesariamente a los procesos de justicia transicional de las últimas dos décadas, por lo tanto, se enuncian desde los derechos de las víctimas consagrados y reconocidos por los procesos y normas establecidas en ese contexto.
