Es evidente que el tema ha sido trabajado largamente, de ello da cuenta una larga lista de literatura sobre la violencia en Colombia, pero, pese a esto, además de la razón ya esgrimida en el párrafo anterior, existen dos poderosas razones para insistir en este tipo de análisis, en primera instancia, la coyuntura en la que se encuentra inmerso el país, amerita estudios desde todos los sectores de la sociedad civil, que desborden el análisis y comprensión del fenómeno, sino, que propongan y promuevan propuestas que coayuden en la solución de los problemas más sentidos de la sociedad Colombiana.
